Dewie Kong

It’s me. Hi.

My nickname, Dewie, was created after I was too scared to correct my swim coach on how my name was actually pronounced.

I now see it as a funny joke, but before, it was a painful reminder on how little my confidence was and how bad my people-pleasing added up to.

Now, it’s part of the many names that my friends call me.

I love to draw, paint, write, do math, pet furry animals, and to stare at a screen. I have an unhealthy obsession with pandas, and I will never pass up an opportunity to sing.

My favorite singer is Taylor Swift, but at the same time, I love artists like The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey. When I’m bored, though, I will listen to the Mean Girls Broadway Soundtrack. (Yay Taylor Louderman!)

To finish up, this blog was created after at least seven failed blogs. But this one will be the one that I’m committing to. Mainly because the url is perfect.
